IMT Benchmarking List Update

The Institute for Market Transformation has released its annual US benchmarking map. This gives us a snapshot of the state of energy efficiency and benchmarking programs across the nation. There are a number of newcomers since the map was last updated.

It appears the east coast is beginning to catch up to the precedent set by the west coast and has added a number of city reporting programs.

Colorado has joined California and Washington as the only states to have a statewide program as well.

In total there are currently 38 city benchmarking programs and 3 state level programs. California is the nation's benchmarking leader with 6 city programs and its statewide AB 802 benchmarking and reporting program.
